Voici un petit résumé des problèmes du Powerstroke 6.0L

2003
COMMON PROBLEM/FAILURE: Turbo failure
CAUSE: Restrictive oil drain tube
SOLUTION: Upgraded oil drain tube from Ford
PART NUMBER: PN 6C3Z-9T515-A

COMMON PROBLEM/FAILURE: (VGT vanes sticking)
CAUSE: Lack of internal turbo groove
SOLUTION: Replace turbo
PART NUMBER: Use ’07 turbo

COMMON PROBLEM/FAILURE: Leaking oil under turbo
CAUSE: Bad ICP sensor
SOLUTION: Replace ICP sensor
PART NUMBER: PN 3C3Z-9F838-EA

COMMON PROBLEM/FAILURE: FICM-related rough idle
CAUSE: Problematic pilot injection feature
SOLUTION: Reflash FICM (by application)
PART NUMBER: PN Need

2004
COMMON PROBLEM/FAILURE: EGR cooler (late ’04)
CAUSE: Restrictive rectangular design
SOLUTION: Replace or clean EGR cooler
PART NUMBER: PN 4C3Z-9P456-AF
