Je suis allé souvent à ce camping (genre stationnement) c'est très sécuritaire il y a des caméras et on se trouve à 5 minutes du métro

Bonjour, cette été nous désirons visitez New York et le camping liberty harbor semble tout indiquer.

La question est la suivante: doit-on réservez beaucoup d'avance car il n'y as pas beaucoup de places (50). Nous y serons à la fin juillet début août.

Liberty is right on the harbor but nothing more than a parking lot. Newburgh KOA is nice, (I lIve up the road and just stayed there this past weekend) and they do offer bus tours. You can drive to the newburgh waterfront, take the ferry over the hudson and take the train to NY as well.

We have never been there but this is supposed to be the closest RV park to the city. It is more of a parking lot than a park: http://www.libertyharborrv.com/index.htm

If it is the one I have read about, the access via streets is tight so do your research.

We have stayed at the KOA in Newburgh NY which is about an hour north of the city. They offer escorted tours of the city.

Voici le site de KOA. J'aime beaucoup mieux cet option que le Liberty Harbor, surtout qu'il offre des tours de NY. Si vous regardez le site de Liberty Harbor et lisez les instructions pour se rendre, je comprend un peu le commentaire ci-haut (en anglais) au sujet des routes etroites. Je ne prendrai pas de chances avec mon Moho.

Merci pour vos commentaires, c'est loin un peu 1 heure surtout que nous ne remorquons aucun véhicule et être en attente d'un autobus c'est que nous voulons y être pour plusieurs jours je crois que c'est plus comme ça que d'être à côté.

S'il y à d'autres personnes qui ont fait le voyage et demeurer à cette endroit, j'aimerais leurs commentaires.

Se payer une heure matin et soir je trouvais ça un peu long surtout lorques l'on ne passe pas beaucoup de temps là-bas... Le camping offre un transport par autobus, pas mon fort...

J'ai adoré le Liberty Harbor... tu marches 3 coins de rue et tu prends le Path Train pour 2 stations, et tu arrives à Ground Zero... dans le trou !!!

Liberty Harbor est en effet un parking plus qu'un camping, mais nous étions parti toute la journée, et quand je dors, je me fou pas mal si la pelouse est belle ou non !!!
