.. Les ventes canadiennes de VR tractés en septembre 2016 se sont effondrées de 24,4% et en sont rendues à une baisse de 13,8% pour les 9 premiers mois de l'année 2016!
SSI: Sept. Canadian Towable Sales Tumble 24.4%

Year-over-year Canadian towable sales tumbled 24.4% in September and 13.8% for the first nine months, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI).
Results by segment showed:
• Sales in the travel trailer sector dropped 22.5%% in September and 11.2% year-to-date.
• Canadian fifth-wheel sales declined 28.8% for the month and 23.6% through September.
• Folding camping trailer registrations were down 29.7% in September and showed a 12.8% decline year-to-date.
• Park model RVs fell 83.3% in September on low volume and fell 64.2% year-to-date. Three units were shipped for the month.
Thor Industries Inc. was the overall Canadian towable sales leader through September with a 55.7% market share, ahead of Forest River Inc. which held a 34.2% share. SSI noted that towable sales by Jayco Inc. were included in totals for Thor, which acquired the company on July 1.
Thor was the leader in travel trailer sales for the nine months, posting a 56.9% market share, followed by Forest River (33.5%) and Gulf Stream Coach Inc. (2.5%).
Thor was also No. 1 in Canadian fifth-wheel sales, capturing a 57.6% market share, followed by Forest River (29.9%) and Grand Design (7.4%).
Forest River led year-to-date Canadian folding camping trailer sales with a 64.1% market share while Thor posted a 27.5% share. Woodland Park Inc. led the park model segment through September with a 36.6% market share while Forest River was No. 2 with a 22.7% share followed by Cavco Industries Inc. (15.9%).
